My Body is a Mix Tape: Music and Desire in the Sound Sex Project

This is the written component of my Master's Thesis Project in the Media Studies program at Concordia University in Montreal. It focuses on two distinct parts. The first is the Sound Sex Project (www.soundsexproject.blogspot.com), which was the germ of this thesis. The second half of the writing focuses on my practice of mix tape making, and the performative aspect of creating and giving away mix tapes as art objects.
